There was never going to be any doubt that triple world MX2 champion Jeffrey Herlings would take the overall victory at the Dutch Masters on Easter Monday at Oldebroek. The local ace won both motos by almost half a minute from former world MXGP champ Romain Febvre who was second in both races.
Shaun Simpson was third in the opener, and fourth second time out. He swopped results with Gautier Paulin, who scored the same points as the ex-British champ but the Frenchman got third overall thanks to his better second race result.
Briton Adam Sterry took fourth overall in MX2. Jago Geerts took the overall win from Calvin Vlaandren.
