Briton Tommy Searle has shown he means business by setting a time second fastest to Jeffrey Herlings in free practice at Matterley Basin British GP today. Max Anstie is ninth and Shaun Simpson 11th. Adam Sterry is best Brit in MX2 in ninth, in a session headed by Jorge Prado.

In the EMX300 timed session, Mike Kras was quickest from Brad Anderson in third and Ashley Wilde sixth. Unsurprisingly, ex world champ Mickael Pichon is quickest in the Vets practice with Phil Mercer fourth. The Brits found it tougher in the EMX250 session, as you can see from the times.
