Honda’s Jeremy Martin has broken a bone in his back after clashing with Justin Cooper at the Muddy Creek US 250 National. Martin, who had won the opener, was carried off in a neck brace and on a backboard and taken to the local hospital where it’s been confirmed he has broken L1 vertebra.
Luckily the Geico Honda racer has not lost any movement in his legs but will see a neurosurgeon today who will investigate surgery.
We wish him all the best in his recovery.
