Indoor specialist Adam Chatfield will fill in for the injured Dan Thornhill on the Cab Screens Deos Group Racing Honda team at Sunday’s third round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean at Canada Heights.

“On Monday morning we were looking at the prospect of having no riders for our most local round,” said team boss Lee Webber. “The good news is that Harri Kullas has recovered from a crash in Estonia but sadly Dan Thornhill is still getting some trouble with his shoulder. 

“Our mechanic Jon Dennis is good friends with Adam so that’s how the initial interest came about. We spoke to Adam and it became a no-brainer as he already rides a Honda. There is no pressure on him for any results as he’s not raced outdoors in this country for three or four years, apart from the Huck Cup and a recent Portsmouth club meeting.”
