Briton Todd Kellett took his first EMX two-stroke win in the heat of the Russian GP today. With Andero Lusbo second, defending champion Brad Anderson took back the red plate from Mike Kras by stealing third place then pulling away from the Dutchman.
Anderson now has a single point lead over Kras with Kellett third, now 17 points further back.
With only 11 finishers, Charlie Putnam scored sixth place and Rob Holyoake was right behind him.
In the EMX250 race, last week’s British championship winner Josh Gilbert was the only Briton to score, with an 11th place finish. The second moto for both classes is on Sunday.
