ASA United Husqvarna will be making their Arenacross debut in Belfast on Friday 17th January 2020 – and promise to make a massive impact on the series having signed reigning champion Cedric Soubeyras and Arenacross veteran and British fan favourite Jack Brunell.
30-year-old Soubeyras, aptly nicknamed ‘The Soub’, will be defending his title on the bike that saw him clinch the win in 2019; the Husqvarna FC 250. The Frenchman, who has many supercross titles to his name (including European Supercross Champion), made history in the six-race series in 2019 by becoming the first ever rider to win the Super Final main event on a 250 four stroke machine.British rider Jack Brunell, whose regular appearance in the series has earned him the title of ‘Arenacross veteran’, is a consistent podium finisher who isn’t afraid to push the limits.
Brunells’ pure determination, combined with Soubeyras’s ‘no holds barred’ approach to racing, promises to deliver some exciting racing throughout the three venue, six race series. Arenacross is Europe’s fastest growing indoor racing series. The high octane, live action sports show, keeps audiences on the edge of their seats with ’bar to ’bar indoor motocross racing and spectacular freestyle motocross displays. This year the events will run in Belfast and Birmingham and the final will be held in Wembley Stadium, London.
