Tommy Searle and Jake Nicholls will be joined by Jay Hague in Dave Thorpe’s Honda team, which has picked up a new title sponsor called Crendon Fastrack to replace Buildbase which split with the squad at the end of the season.

Searle and Nicholls remain in the MX1 class while 22-year-old Hague steps in to the MX2 ride vacated by Steven Clarke. They will contest the British championship and MX Nationals. And for 2021 they will be in Alpinestars kit, replacing the Troy Lee Designs gear of this season.

As the UK series don’t start until April, the team are busy tuning the all-new 2021 CRF450R so the MX1 riders can get on board after Christmas for initial shakedown tests. Hague has already tested the team’s CRF250R race bike and says he immediately felt comfortable on it.

Crendon provide timber engineering roofing and flooring for the building industry.
