Brit Todd Kellett is to replace Arnaud Tonus at the Belgian GP in Lommel this weekend on the Hostettler Yamaha racing team.
“Due to the consequences of a concussion, Arnaud Ronus will not be able to start in Lommel this weekend. Todd Kellett will replace the Swiss rider,” said the team who confirmed he had already tested the YZ450F.
“Todd is a good rider and a fighter with a lot of ambition. It’s a win-win situation for both sides and I think he will take his chance in Lommel,” says team boss Jef Janssen.
Kellett won the Weston beach race from 2016 to 2018 and was leading ehr MX Nationals until Sunday when he withdrew from the final day of racing.
