Following the announcement of Kawasaki Team Green fielding a four rider line-up in the Arenacross Tour, the team has been bolstered further with the addition of Ben Mustoe and Bobby Bruce – completing a full manufacturer-run lineup in every class.
10-year-old Ben Mustoe will compete in the KX65 series. This year will see him switch to the Kawasaki brand for the first time and he’s looking forward to being part of Team Green, he said: “I am so excited about riding in the Arenacross Tour, and to have the chance to do so as part of Team Green is unbelievable! I already have my KX65 and have been spinning lots of laps with my riding mentor, Lee Dunham. I want to give a big thanks to new Team Green sponsors, Team 6t9 who have played a huge part in allowing me to race the Arenacross series, and also to the guys at Team Green for giving me this awesome opportunity!”
Also joining Team Green for the 2017 season, including the Arenacross and also the outdoor British Championships is Bobby Bruce. Bobby will join Kacey Hird in the big wheel 85cc class on his KX85.
Bobby is relishing the idea of competing on KX machinery. He said: “I immediately felt at home and part of the Kawasaki Team Green family, they have provided me with a great bike and a great level of support. I will be looking to repay their faith in me right from the off in 2017.”
Kawasaki Motors UK Racing Coordinator, Ross Burridge, said: “The Team Green Youth programme is going from strength to strength, and I really believe that in 2017 we have the best rider lineup we could ask for. I would like to welcome these young talented riders to the team, and also thank Jeff Perrett and Bryan Mackenzie for their hard work behind the scenes getting this team ready for the Arenacross Tour. Let’s hope we can achieve our aim of Championship wins!”
