American Ryan Surratt has split from the BUD Kawasaki team just a month before he was due to make his AMA Supercross debut for them at Anaheim. Surratt – son of former AMA pro Willie – raced a BUD Kawasaki at the Lille Supercross but looks like he’s now without a ride. A BUD team statement said: “The team and Ryan have preferred to part ways – to take different direction for both parties”

The year, the team says its goal is to focus on European EMX250 and EMX125 championship and French Elite Motocross series.

The 125cc European Motocross championship will be raced by the youngest rider in the team, 14-year-old Brian Moreau who was runner-up in the World Junior 85cc championship in 2015.

The AMA Supercross west coast 250 series will also be part of the team’s program and young American rider Tristan Charboneau will race his first ever Pro SX in Anaheim on January 7.

He will be joined in Europe by American Marshal Weltin from Michigan. Marshal had a good amateur season in 2015 and will have the opportunity to show his real potential in Europe.

Kim Savaste from Finland had a good end of EMX125 season with two overall second place finishes in Belgium and Switzerland but had a crash during MXDN in Maggiora and injured his back. Kim will be back riding late in the season.

The final team rider is Maxime Desprey who will race the French Elite 450 series for the team. He will race all the European MXGPs as part of Dutch Gebbens team.
