24MX Honda quit GP racing

The 24MX Honda MXGP team has pulled the plug and won’t race in 2017 due to financial pressure. That means its riders Damon Graulus and Milko Potisek, who have already been testing their bikes prior to the season, are now without a ride.

Graulus broke the news on social media with a post that says: “Unfortunately the team decided to stop so this is the situation now.” There has been no official release from 24MX or Potisek yet.

Last year the team signed up Matiss Karro and Ken De Dycker but both missed the majority of the season with injuries. They had several fill-in riders, like Pritt Ratsep (photographed above) who raced at the British GP.

Honda will have the Assomotor team in MXGPs in 2017 with Valentin Guillod and Alessandro Lupino.
