Husky ace Patrick Major had this horrific crash in qualifying for the weekend’s Canada Heights British championship but has thankfully revealed there are no major injuries.
He said: “Today has been the scariest day of my life in motocross! I suffered a awful crash in qualifying this morning where my forks just totally blew through everything I hit, finally resulting in this! I was knocked out for five mins and was forced to red flag the race.
“I’ve been in hospital for a suspected broken neck and concussion for the last 6 hours. All that’s been going through my head is the worst but I can happily say that after a few scans, I am break free.
“The next few weeks I will be taking some time away to get my thoughts straight and let my head recover. Thanks to everyone wishing me well and my friends and family.”
