Shaun Simpson’s year goes from bad to worse as his MXGP race comeback lasted just one corner at Ottobiano in Italy when he went down in this first turn pile-up.

The former British champion was making his comeback from a broken hand but is now reported to have broken his arm and elbow. He’s already gone back to Belgium where Doctor Claes will be operating today. Check out the GoPro footage from his helmet cam.
