Apico Husqvarna has acquired the services of top 5 AMCA MX1 Championship rider, Ryan Crowder for the remainder of the 2017 season and will debut on his Apico Husqvarna FC450 2017 at Round 4 of the MX Nationals this weekend at Sherwood. After some impressive results and a solid season, Ryan recently received the news that his current KTM backing would not be in place for the remainder of 2017. Without the support of a manufacturer, Ryan had to make a tough decision to step away from his current deal, as an opportunity arose with Apico Husqvarna.
Dylan Brown, of Apico, said: “Ryan’s a local lad and one whose racing I have watched and admired for many years. I heard about the tough break he’d had with KTM, and decided to see if he wanted to continue his current season with the Apico Husqvarna Race Team. He did, and we’re here now working with the team and sponsors to get everything turned around for his next race at the MX Nationals & AMCA MX1 Championship. We hope that the changes allow him to complete his season and gain a few more podiums, as it’s still possible for him to finish further up the AMCA MX1 Championship rankings.”
