If you have a 2018 Husqvarna with Magura brakes, then you need to get them checked out. Husqvarna Motorcycles today announced the recall of 2018 FE, TE, FX, TX, FC and TC models for a thorough inspection on their MAGURA brake calipers.
Due to deviations in the manufacturing process at Husqvarna Motorcycles’ official supplier, brake caliper assemblies might be incomplete with the anti-rattle plates and cotters possibly missing in the models referred to above. Therefore, both front and rear calipers on all affected Husqvarna Motorcycles must be inspected for completeness by fully trained technicians.
Customers who own one of the affected motorcycles are being informed by a personal letter and asked to immediately contact an authorised Off Road Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer to arrange an appointment for inspection and replacement.
In addition, all Husqvarna owners can check online in the ‘Service’ area of Husqvarna Motorcycles’ website to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall. Further info on all authorised off road dealers can be found on the ‘Dealer Section’ of Husqvarna Motorcycles’ website.
