Defending champ Brad Anderson led today’s first EMX300 race at Redsands in Spain, but crashed and dropped back to sixth place. It allowed his great rival, GL12 KTM’s Mike Kras, to take the win and the lead in the championship.

Last week’s double winner Greg Smets took fifth place and is now second in the series, just one point behind Kras. Ando is nine points behind Smets.

Bradley Wheeler finished 21st, just out of the points. GL12’s James Dunn is contesting the EMX250 round this weekend.
