Max Anstie is said to have agreed terms for another year in the MXGP series, switching from the IceOne Husqvarna team to Standing Construct KTM. Although the deal hasn’t been officially announced, it was confirmed to MotoHead today.
Briton Anstie is to dropped by the IceOne team at the end of the season following the last GP and the Nations, and he’s made it known he was without a ride, admitting he was considering a move to the AMA championship. But now he’ll stay on Austrian-built bikes in the team that has factory support. He’ll ride along with Dutchman Glenn Coldenhoff, who has moved from the official Red Bull KTM team. Italian Ivo Monticelli, who rides in the British championship this year for iFly Yamaha, is also said to be riding for Standing Construct in MXGPs in 2019.
