Apico have reached a deal with Lee Jones from Apex Motocross Track to support his AMCA and IMBA rider Ray Rowson in 2018. The deal will also include BSMA stars James Hanscomb and Naydia Jones. In partnership with KTM, the team will compete again at the highest level of amateur motocross and will be in the hunt for class winning performances to replicate the success in 2017.
Apico’s Dylan Brown said: “We’re pleased to have reached a deal with Lee and his riders for 2018. The team is professionally run and always looks to give back to sponsors which we really appreciate. With Ray competing in MX2 in the IMBA to defend his title and MX1 in the AMCA Championship, this will make for an exciting season. James has also done well in the BSMA Championship last year, this is another National Series that we’ve recently become involved with and are looking to build with in the future.”
Apex boss Lee Jones said: “ I’ve been working closely with Apico and the guys for the last year, I’m really pleased at how our relationship has progressed and we’re looking to do the same job and maintain our championship winning status along with Apex and KTM into 2018.”
