The mighty 500cc two-stroke, and especially the awesome Honda CR500, is an iconic machine that most riders didn’t or couldn’t ride back in the day. When they were killed off to make way for easier-to-ride 250s, their legendary status was set in stone. It’s the bike feared and desired in equal measures, even today, as riders hunt down big-bore CRs to see if they have what it takes to master the beast.
