Martin Barr has signed to race a 250 Yamaha for the Crescent team in 2019, alongside Jake Shipton who stays with the squad on a 450.
Barr was dropped by Revo Husky at the end of this year. The new age limit rule means he can’t ride in the EMX250 class any more and Revo’s plans were to contest world rounds.
Barr said: “Excited to finally release my plans for the 2019 season. I’ve signed with Cresent Yamaha to ride the all new YZFf250 in the British and Mx National championship.”
Shipton said: “I’ll be sticking blue! Massive thanks to Yamaha UK and the continued support from Crescent Racing after a tough year, sticking behind me and believing in me. Can’t wait to get started on the 2019 YZ450F!”
