The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team has felt the sting of injuries so far this season, including both Jo Shimoda and Seth Hammaker, who were slated to run the Eastern Regional 250SX championship that starts this weekend. The team now looks to veteran racer Chris Blose to lead the team into the opening round of the championship at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, with high hopes of a solid first run with the team.
The rider out of Phoenix not only brings a wealth of experience to the team, but also enjoyed a successful 2022 season that he looks to build off of for 2023. During the 2022 Western Regional 250SX season, Blose scored five top-10 finishes on his way to seventh overall. Blose is ready to make the most of this opportunity and take his results to the next level in Houston.
“After an inspiring ride from Cameron at the last race in Anaheim, the West Coast is on a break with Cameron second in points. This weekend we’re heading to Houston for the start of the East Coast. We will start with Chris Blose, who spent the weekend on our Kawasaki KX250 in the Phoenix area and seems very comfortable so far. We’ll do some testing here in California before flying to Houston on Thursday for the press day that will take place on Friday.” – Iain Southwell, Team Manager.
