Briton Steve Holcombe has clinched the EnduroGP world championship after day one of the German event in Zschopau.
It’s his first crack at the blue riband class, coming a year after he won the Enduro 3 World Championship. And the Beta factory ace did it in style, winning the opening day of the final round.
He took the lead on the opening test and extended his margin all day, winning by 20 seconds from Christophe Nambotin and Loic Larrieu.
