DMC concepts boss Dave Miller lost his battle with cancer yesterday, just as a campaign was set up to raise money for his family by selling these retro Scott-inspired Covid-19 masks.
Miller was one of the innovators in 1980s and 90s MX, supporting up-and-coming riders like Jeff ‘Chicken’ Matiasevich as well as making some of the coolest go-faster parts. His shop was just a few doors down from Pro Circuit in Anaheim., California.
He finally lost his battle against cancer, just as a campaign to raise money for his family was launched by Jimmy Mac in the USA. Now anyone who buys one of the masks will have the profits given to Dave’s family and other good causes.
Jimmy Mac said: “The masks cost us $10 plus shipping so we’d consider selling them for $20 each as a way to raise money for Dave Miller. Every cent above our cost would go to Dave. In fact, even if you don’t want a mask, why not donate whatever you can to Dave anyway? Click Here to go to Dave Miller’s Go Fund Me page.”
