Top injury prevention specialist CTi Knee Brace are returning to the International Dirt Bike Show this year for its 21st consecutive year and are offering a special show deal on its world famous knee braces.
The knee brace currently comes in an ‘off-the-shelf’ version, which is ready to wear, and a custom version, which requires exact leg measurements so a pair of braces can be specially made for each individual’s needs. Each version is available at the International Dirt Bike Show with an exclusive discount. The deal is for a pair of ‘off-the-shelf’ braces priced at £699, which is £50 off, and for a pair of customs braces priced at £1150, where there is £100 off. Both include a free pair of MX knee protectors worth £90.
CTi Knee Brace’s clinical specialist Giles Leeming and Katy Farr will be in attendance at stand C13 offering fittings of the specialist carbon fibre knee braces. The protective bracing has become synonymous with the world of extreme sports since its conception in 1983 when Jim Castillo a keen motocross rider and skier from California was involved in a car accident. Finding his mobility hindered and an inability to enjoy the sports he loved, he wanted to create something that helped recovery as well as provided protection.
Giles Leeming, clinical specialist at CTi Knee Brace, said: “The CTi knee brace is a custom-fitted brace which stabilises the knee joint, providing support and protecting the joint from high forces. The first version of the CTi is a far cry from the current design but the principles were the same – a rigid frame and non-elastic straps.”
There is plenty to tempt visitors into buying with the top manufacturers showcasing the latest hardware including 2017 models across the disciplines at the show. Retailers and distributors will also be showcasing clothing, accessories, riding kit and more in two packed trade halls.
The International Dirt Bike Show in partnership with MOTUL is the leading indoor off-road event in Europe, and it all takes place at the traditional venue of Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire during half-term week, Thursday to Sunday, October 27-30.
