Former British champion Ken De Dycker is to race this weekend’s Dutch GP at Oss in the EMX Open class, then will tackle the Lommel EMX 2T round in his native Belgium on a two-stroke – if someone will lend him a bike.
The giant has ridden for Suzuki, Yamaha and Honda in his GP career as well as KTM. But he’ll race a KX450 in the Dutch GP EMX Open class on Saturday. De Dycker retired from full-time GP racing almost three years ago. He still rides, and contested the 2019 VMXdN on a Doc Wobs Honda as a tribute to the late Eric Geboers.
He’ll face opposition from Brits like James Dunn and Nathan Dixon.
