Epic battles at Fastest 40

Conrad Mewse may have romped to another double win to extend his series lead in Britain’s Fastest 40 MX championship, but there were two epic battles on the rutted, natural track at Landrake in Cornwall. Kawasaki MX2 duo Tommy Searle and Dylan Walsh raged lap after lap on the fast and spectacular course, chased hard by Joel Rizzi, Ben Mustoe, Charlie Cole and Howard Wainwright. But it was Searle who came out on top in both motos as Walsh, only recently back from injury, just couldn’t keep up the frantic pace. And in MX1, Taylor Hammal battled lap after lap with John Adamson for second place behind Mewse. Honda man Hammal came out ahead, with Ulsterman Jason Meara a fine third. With a cast of riders including Martin Barr, Jamie Carpenter, Tom Grimshaw and more, it’s racing any motocross fan will love.
