From Russia without love for Adam Sterry and Tommy Searle

Two British riders walked away from the MXGP of Russia glad to head back to the UK after a weekend of disappointment.

In MXGP Tommy Searle was left frustrated and not being able to race the main event due to, in his own words, “Gutted I won’t be racing today I work hard and want nothing more than to be lining up but under the circumstances here in Russia and the problems we have had yesterday we were unable to determine the problem to be safe to race. The team will work hard this week to try and fix and be ready for next weeks GP in Latvia. @bos.gp”

Sounds like the team and Tommy are not on the same wavelength, the question is can TS100 continue his season with them if things cannot be sorted quickly, a world championship team at this level not being able to race due to the bike not being safe is mind blowing.

In MX2 Adam Sterry was also left frustrated with the condition of the track in Russia, he posted this on his social media, “Happy to write this weekend off! Dangerous track prep and 2 bad starts didn’t help, happy to come away healthy as there were a lot of injuries this weekend! ⏭ Latvia Thanks team @fhracingteam PC / @shotbybavo”

Checking out the social media posts, seems like a few riders are glad to be leaving and heading back to Europe.
