British No.2 has confirmed he is going to ride for the Gabriel SS24 KTM team, run by former British champ Shaun Simpson, next season. Ex-Crendon Honda rider Gilbert will be contesting the British championship and also the MXGP world championships.

He said: “Really pleased to be joining the Gabriel SS24 KTM team for 2024. Grateful for the opportunity to be back racing in MXGP along with the British Championship. Can’t wait to get started.”
