During the lunch break in the weekend’s Japanese championship race in Kyuishu, Honda’s prototype electric CR – recently debuted at the Tokyo bike show – did some demo laps on the rain-hit circuit.

It was ridden by former HRC rider Kazumasa Masuda, but didn’t look like it was well set up or he had much experience of the bike before the lap.
