Husqvarna and KTM are recalling all model year 2021 EE 5 and SX-E models in order for authorised dealers to check the battery vent valve due to possible non-conformities in the production process.

While the deviation may not be present on all motorcycles, to avoid unsafe battery conditions, Husqvarna and KTM are checking vent valve installation on all model year 2021 models.

A very small number of UK Customers who have already acquired one of the above-mentioned motorcycles are being informed by a personal letter and are asked to immediately contact an authorised dealer to arrange an inspection appointment.

In addition, customers can check online in the ‘Service’ area of the Husqvarna and KTM websites to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall. The check and replacement of all parts involved will be carried out at no cost to the customer and must be performed by authorised dealers only.
