Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Colton Haaker took his third win of the season at Round 4 of AMA Endurocross at the inaugural race in Phoenix, Arizona.

The start of the night for Haaker was successful when he finished first in his heat race and also finished first while battling the clock in hotlaps. From there, his momentum continued into the main event. He rounded the first corner in second place. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Mike Brown, not having the best gate pick, rounded the first corner mid-pack. By lap 5, Haaker had passed first place and started clocking some of the fastest lap times of the night.

Meanwhile, though mid-pack, Brown was working his way through the riders, making moves all the way into 4th where he would finish for the night. Haaker kept his lead to finish on top of the podium for his third win of the season. He leads the series at the half-way point with a 7 point lead. Mike Brown still holds on to his 3rd place in overall points.

The AMA EnduroCross Championship continues with round five in Denver, Colorado on October 1st.

Colton Haaker: “Coming into this round, I knew what I needed to work on, in order to finish on the top step again. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do much training the last 2 weeks, but I accepted the challenge, and with a huge amount of focus, was able to execute a successful race and feel more confident than ever with that red plate.
