He may only have just announced his retirement from professional motocross due to his wrist injury, but 20187 British champion Graeme Irwin is ready to make the move to the British Superbike championship where two of his brothers already race.
He will join his brother Glenn for a test ride at Monteblanco in Spain to have a try out on a Supersport 1000cc race bike. If all goes well, he could race the British Superbike series this year.
He has only done one road race in the past, and finished a respectable tenth but it was on a circuit on public roads in his native Northern Ireland. He’s never had a race on a short circuit.
