In his first year as a professional MX2 racer, Scotsman John Adamson has made a massive splash in the British championship. The former two-stroke rider has surprised the world by finishing on the podium in two of the four British rounds against a field of past and current GP riders. And he came within a corner of claiming his first moto win in the last round.

At 25 he’s too old to race MX2 world or European championships, so took a wildcard ride in the British GP on a 350 KTM just to get some more experience. We caught up with him to listen to his amazing story.
