This weekend’s WOR event at Nuneaton has been axed as the landowner trebled the cost of the agreed fee, say the event organisers. “It therefore makes the venue completely non viable for ANY event to take place,” WOR said in a statement on social media.

“WOR are really sorry about this and obviously it’s too late to run elsewhere. So now, the last round of the Winter series for solos will run alongside the Michelin XCE opener on April 1. The last round for quads will run next week at Baden Hall alongside the first Quad Putoline NHS round.

“All entries for this weekend have been cancelled and entries for Baden Hall on March 17-18 are filling very very fast indeed.”
