The MXGP of San Marino, which was set to take place on July 8^th and 9^th 2017, has been axed in the latest shake-up to the GP calendar. It will be run in 2018. It means the 2017 series will now be 19 rounds instead of 20.

The MXGP of Italy, which was originally scheduled to take place on the 15^th and 16^th of April, and the MXGP round of Trentino, which was set to take place on the 24^th an 25^th of June and is also in Italy, have officially swapped places on the calendar. The MXGP of Italy will now take place at the magnificent venue of Maggiora in June, while the MXGP of Trentino will be the first European round of the 2017 series and will take place at the picturesque venue of Pietramurata in April.

The EMX125 classes is switched from Russia to Sweden and the EMX300 from Sweden to Russia.
