Former KTM, Honda and Husky factory rider Max Nagl started his career as a TM works rider at the Riola Sardo Italian International on Sunday with a first-corner crash that saw him injure his elbow.
He was checked out by a hospital near his home in Belgium today but there was found to be no major damage despite lots of swelling, bruising and damaged ligaments. He’ll be off the bike for a short time, which will be a blow as he is desperate for track time.
Nagl has admitted he’s finding it tough getting the TM dialled in to his liking and was using the Italian race as a test outing. The German finished 12th in the MX1 heat but then was injured at the start of the Superfinal.
