Travis Pastrana has bucked the trend and confirmed he WILL ride a two-stroke Suzuki RM250 for team Puerto Rico at the Motocross of Nations in the USA next month. He recently did back-to-back testing of an RM250 and modern RMZ450 four-stroke and was faster on the newer bike. But he’s opted for the smoker anyway, which he’ll ride alongside Kevin Windham and Ryan Sipes.
Pastrana posted this pic on social media and said: “I’m going with the #2stroke for MXON. Should I run my full factory 2002 Suzuki RM250 or this prototype aluminium frame 2-stroke? I think my factory 2002 bike is a little lighter and a little faster but this one handles better.”
