Former European champ Mel Pocock is to replace Tommy Searle in the British team for the weekend’s Vets Nationals at Foxhill. With the British MX1 title still up for grabs, Searle was told to focus on the Revo finale at Landrake next month rather than the Vets race. He will still be there all weekend to meet the fans.

Pocock joins Kurt Nicoll and Brad Anderson in the main British team, who will face Team USA of Mike Brown, Zach Osborne and Ryan Villopoto. Osborne is currently riding with Pocock at the Brits home track and is today testing the Husqvarna he’ll race at the weekend.
