Problems at Brookthorpe track

The well-known Brookthorpe circuit is facing issues with insurance and the UK Girls National planned there for this weekend is off. That’s according to the organising Severn Valley club who were due to run at the popular hillside circuit.

Although there is no official word from the circuit, the Severn Valley club posted this message on social media: “We have had some very sad news that BROOKTHORPE cannot be used for motocross sport or any other activities due to farmers insurance problems. So for the foreseeable future we have to cancel UK Girls Nationals 2024 and all other events. We are very disappointed to say the least as it has been one of the best tracks in the country. What the hell is happening with this world.”

This year the track hosted a round of the Fastest 40 series, won by Conrad Mewse, and British 125 two-stroke championship.
