The brand new international race at Redsand in Spain has been axed on the eve of the pro action. Torrential rain with more forecast for the weekend means the paddock is flooded and the track is a mess.

“Due to the polar cold wave that is affecting the Spanish coast of Levante,  the organisers are forced to cancel the event because of the impossibility of accessing the track safely due to the rain forecast for the whole weekend,”said an official statement.

The race had attracted many top GP riders including Brits like Shaun Simpson and Jake Nicholls.
