Ken Roczen says he’s now ‘a free agent’ after he turned down HRC’s offer for 2023. It’s because Roczen is racing the opening round of the new WSX global supercross series that starts in Wales in just over three weeks.
HRC offered Roczen an AMA supercross-only deal for next season, but insisted he sat out the WSX series. He refused, so is without a ride for next season. Roczen will race the Cardiff event on a Honda CRF450 and also the Red Bull Straight Rhythm on a Honda two-stroke. He’ll also race the final round of the WSX series in Australia on October 21-22.
Listen to Roczen talk about the situation in the Bubba’s World podcast.
