Tommy Searle rode his bike yesterday for the first time after five months off to recover from knee surgery. He put in some saddle time at his friend Ed Warren’s private track with a few pals.
He said he was really happy to be back riding and his knee felt good with no swelling. He felt so good he went out again today to get that bike feeling back!
He explained: “It’s still early days and I’ve been off the bike for so long, it just feels good to be doing what I love – I’ve missed it.” He’s taking it step by step but don’t be surprised if he attempt to make a racing return at the Canada Heights British championship in two weeks. It’s early days yet but it’s not impossible he may be back if his recovery continues so well.
