Ken Roczen’s factory 450 HRC Honda has been revealed and it clearly shows he’s made the switch back to Showa suspension from the KYB he ran in the outdoors last year. The official data says they are Showa spring forks. In the past, Roczen has had technical issues with air forks.
Roczen ran Showa forks in Supercross in 2018 but switched the KYB for the outdoor. But now he’s swopped back again to Showa for Supercross.
His team-mate in the AMA Supercross and motocross championships, Cole Seely, clearly has KYB on his otherwise identical factory bike. Seely ran KYB all season.
The machines, which for 2019 have black rims, sport Yoshimura twin exhausts, Hinson clutches and Renthal bars.
