Eli Tomac could be swapping his factory Kawasaki ride for a Star Yamaha deal next year, replacing Aaron Plessinger who is set to join Cooper Webb and Marvin Musquin at Red Bull KTM. That’s according to the latest rumour from US journo Steve Matthes.

Tomac could, of course, be using this potential Yamaha swap as a tactic to get more money out of Kawasaki as he was already said to have agreed to a further two years with the team but not actually signed.

Or he could move to Star Yamaha which has a huge team and is very serious in developing the YZ450F into a title winner. More news when we get it.
