A crowd of 43,207 fans, the series’ largest attendance ever at Rice-Eccles Stadium, was on hand to watch an incredible come-from-behind effort by Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac, who passed nine riders and overcame Team Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Ryan Dungey late to capture his ninth 450SX Class win of the season and assume sole possession of the championship lead in the Salt Lake City Supercross.
