Russian ace Alex Tonkov is finally back on a bike almost nine months after he had massive surgery on his broken back. The former Husqvarna factory rider sports a huge scar from the operation which was a risky procedure.

But he’s now recovered and has taken a first few laps on a bike. It’s not known whether he’ll make a return to professional racing, as it’s early days.
