Newly-crowned American 250 Supercross champ Zach Osborne will race in the Vets Nations at Farleigh Castle on September 16-17, event organisers have announced.
Husky ace Osborne, who bulldozed rival Joey Savatgy out of the last corner at the recent Las Vegas Supercross to take the title and was fined $7500 for doing so, has already raced old bikes before.
When he was based in the UK and rode for the Dixon Yamaha team, he borrowed a 1981 Yamaha YZ125H for a twin-shock meeting and, of course, cleaned up.
He’ll ride an old Husqvarna at the event. Robert Jonas, the boss of Husky motorsport, rode the Farleigh event last year and is a huge fan.
