USA Vets Nations team revealed

Team USA breaks cover for the biggest motocross vet’s event in the world, VMXdN Foxhill, which is held across the August Bank holiday, August 22nd-25th, 2024. As the pinnacle of two-stroke vets racing, this event is gaining traction daily and attracting teams from around the world!

Doug Dubach, who needs no introduction, is taking the role of team manager. The former factory Yamaha rider who formed DRD pipes to run alongside his long-time R&D career with the Yamaha brand has been to every VMXdN since its inception in 2009.

The team captain will be AMA national champion Mike Brown, a VMXdN regular. Brownie leaves it all on the track with his balls out, picture-perfect riding style. He always gives his all; as the only member of the 2023 squad returning to defend their podium finish, you can believe that he will only be happy with the win; he’s not coming all this way for anything else! Brownie is lining up on a DocWob Built Pro Circuit tuned 2002 YZ 250 with a very special 90’s livery. He is a machine and expect him to be right up the sharp end.

Not only will Brownie be contesting in the VMXdN International Team Race, but he is also lining up in the Evo 125 Class and competing in the +50. Paul Wright from Wright Engineering, in collaboration with Matt Coles, will supply and build Brownie’s machines for these races.

Andrew Short will make his maiden VMXdN appearance. As a long-time factory rider, notably for the mighty HRC squad in the USA and later in his career as part of the factory Yamaha rally raid squad, he will be more than up for the challenge. Riding another of the DocWob built, Pro Circuit-tuned 2002 YZ 250s in matching livery to the Mike Brown, Ryan Villopoto, and Alessio Chiodi Yamahas, he will be coming equipped to take no prisoners on the iconic hillside amphitheatre near Swindon.

Third on the squad is Sean Lipanovich. Lipanovich comes recommended by team captain Mike Brown (so you know he’s a player). He has had a long and distinguished AMA pro career racing for notable teams such as the Honda of Troy and Suzuki City squads. Later in his career, he became a test rider for Dirt Bike magazine and an R&D test rider for the KTM and WP factories. Lipanovich will be racing a DocWob built, Pro Circuit tuned KX 250 for the event. His racing accomplishments make for some impressive reading.

This four-day motocross festival promises to be a true homage to the exhilarating 90s/00s two-stroke era. VMXdN Foxhill showcases epic racing in every class, featuring top riders from around the world. However, it’s not just about the races. The Show’N’Shine Bike Show on Friday is worth the entry ticket alone! For any motocross enthusiast, it’s a treat for the eyes to see the sheer time and effort gone into these two-wheeled beauties. And then there’s the social aspect, meeting up with friends old and new and reminiscing about the years gone by, meeting your mx heroes and of course the packed beer tent not to be missed (don’t worry they are removing the sides in 2024).

With the overwhelming success of the previous two years, the demand for tickets to VMXdN Foxhill is soaring. In 2023, the event was almost at full capacity, and this year, ticket sales are surpassing expectations. To ensure you don’t miss out on this unforgettable MX experience, please secure your tickets as soon as possible. The anticipation is building, and VMXdN Foxhill is expected to be a sell-out event in 2024.
