It’s a once-a year chance to see some of the world’s most famous motorcycles ever, and it’s totally free! On November 5, the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham throws open its doors for their third annual open day where you can see bikes like the Norton used by Les Archer to win the 500cc European motocross championship – a year before the series was granted full world championship status.
There’s not just the bikes to see, but some of the most famous machines are started up, there’s also an autojumble and trade stands, and King of the Jungle and ex-World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty – who rides off-road too – will be there too as well as other biking personalities.
